Real Estate

School is starting soon (!!), and the real estate market is picking up!
After a relatively quiet summer, we’re seeing an uptick in buyer activity as families settle into back-to-school routines. If you’re thinking about buying or selling a home, I’d be happy to help—licensed in both Georgia and Florida.

On the home front, summer was all about organization.
Our family projects this year focused on closets—and the garage. We made solid progress painting and reorganizing several closets, and James is just finishing up new shelving in an awkward second closet in his room. The big project we keep pretending not to see is the garage. The plan: move the cars out, paint the ceiling, then shift everything to the middle, cover it, and keep painting. Easy, right? Any day now...

Mom’s property has had more showings, but still no offers.
We recently lowered the price again. Honestly, we never imagined it would take this long to sell a deep water home with a new 60-year roof, whole-house generator, a freshly relined pool, and new HVAC. Fingers crossed—it has to happen soon.

I hope you had a great summer and are easing into your fall schedule. If I can be of help with real estate on either side of the state line, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Best Regards,

Cathy
