Greetings!
I hope you are thinking GREEN this week! There are some fun events happening around town for St. Patrick’s Day, and I hope you had a more exciting weekend than I did.
John and I took the car down to Orange Park for service at 8 a.m. and then proceeded to sit there all day receiving intermittent updates until 5 p.m., when we finally left with our very well-cleaned and serviced vehicle. My husband insists this counts as a “date” since we shared a meal away from the house. Only true love kept me from murdering him on the spot.
To be fair, I did enjoy a very nice veggie omelet with a side of grits. The remainder of our weekend excitement involved spreading mulch.
On a happier note, we have a family wedding coming up for one of my younger nephews in North Carolina in early May. It’s always fun to have a wedding to look forward to. I’ve been invited to the bridal shower, which I won’t be able to attend, but I would still like to send a thoughtful gift.
