FUN THINGS GOING ON - Boozy Bingo

Real Estate

Greetings!

Lots of new stores moving in to town recently.  If you haven't had any free time to poke around, you might look over around Belk's.  There is a new Asian grocery store just opened up.  They have some very interesting items.  Trying to find out when you use black rice.  The movie theatre is open again.  Yea!  Do a little exploring at home.  You might find a new favorite restaurant.

I've been a bit tied up with work.  The real estate market is picking up, as it tends to do with school opening soon.  If you are thinking of listing, this is a great time to get in on the wave.  Buyers, we are in a buyers market.  Give me a call if you would like to see what opportunities there are to get out of a rental and into a home, or to upgrade to a larger home.  Sorry for the plug - the I couldn't resist with the market finally heating up.

Mom is in her inspection period on her home in Florida.  Buyers are from up North and doing some odd tests.  Not a great amount of Radon in Coastal Florida.  I did google it on ChatGPT, and the EPA put out a statement that Radon has been found all along the Gulf Coast and despite being listed as a Low Risk area, they estimate the occurrence is under reported by at much as 20%.  It will be interesting to see what regulations and advisories get updated by the new administration.  We are all looking forward to Mom closing on her house so she can relax and start looking for fun things to do here in St Marys.

Regards,

Cathy
