Community Shred Event + A Little Date Week Fun
We are hosting a big community Shred Event this Wednesday at ERA. This is a wonderful opportunity to safely clean out old files and protect yourself from identity theft. Spring is the perfect time to declutter — and this is one of the easiest ways to do it responsibly. I hope you’ll take advantage of it!
Spring has definitely arrived. The grass is finally greening up, and the calendar is filling quickly with activities around town.
John and I will be heading to Universal this week for our annual “Date Week” — just a little later than our usual Valentine’s timing. This year we have tickets to ride in the Mardi Gras parade on one of the floats and throw beads. We actually tried this two years ago and made it all the way through dinner and prep — everyone excited and ready — when the first float in line clipped a bollard at the gate and the entire parade was cancelled. 😄 We’re hoping for better luck this time!
We also have a spa appointment scheduled at the Magnolia Spa at Shades of Green — the military resort located on Disney property. They do a wonderful job, and it makes for a very relaxing afternoon. We’ll just Uber over from Universal. Mini golf will likely be involved as well!
I’m very much looking forward to a few days to remember why I fell in love with this wonderful man all those years ago.
If you need me while I’m away, texting or email will be the best way to reach me. It’s hard to hear the phone ring in the parks, but in this digital age, I’m always accessible. I’ll be back in the office Friday afternoon.
