Greetings!
We finally managed to coax James out to the Town Center for a bit of spring shopping, and it turned into a very productive outing. On our return home, however, we were met with an unexpected surprise—we couldn’t pull into our driveway.
A large branch—nearly a third of the tree—had broken off and fallen across both the driveway and part of the street. It appears the tree had been compromised from the inside, with insects causing significant rot over time.
The boys quickly got to work with chainsaws to clear the debris, and we were incredibly grateful for a passing vendor who stopped to lend a hand with his own equipment.
While we are saddened to be losing such beautiful trees, we are especially thankful that no one was nearby when the branch fell. It’s a powerful reminder of how important it is to keep an eye on tree health—especially this time of year.

Then relocate and park across from Orange Hall House Museum
This is where the official walking ghost tour begins, allowing a smoother experience with no long gaps in between stops
As the night deepens, you’ll explore the most active and atmospheric parts of downtown, hearing real stories, local legends, and unexplained encounters.

The experience continues with a live paranormal ghost hunt at the historic
Riverview Hotel,
one of the most talked-about haunted locations in the area(A separate event & ticket)
