Greetings!

Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with good health, happiness, and new opportunities. May the year ahead bring moments of joy, meaningful connections, and continued success. Thank you for being part of my community—I look forward to all that’s to come in the year ahead.

We’re starting the new year with a few positive commitments. Mom, my neighbor Sue, and I have all signed on to continue workout classes at the Senior Center. We’re sampling different classes on different days to see what’s the best fit. Sue and I are also exploring quilting classes at Beyond Fabric. Sewing has always been my creative outlet after stressful workdays—it’s gratifying to work through the process and enjoy a finished piece at the end.

Our MOAA group is beginning a new cycle after successfully completing last year’s fundraising efforts. This year, our focus shifts to identifying where those funds can make the greatest impact for military members in our local community.

John is currently looking for someone who specializes in maintaining older HO gauge model trains. He inherited several from his father and grandfather, and if you happen to know someone who could help, we would truly appreciate a referral.

And finally—today marks one of the bittersweet moments of the season: packing up Christmas. The evenings feel darker once the lights come down, and I’ll miss the soft glow of the tree with that first cup of morning coffee and the reflections in the windows at night. On the bright side, the cookies are officially gone…which brings us full circle back to those exercise classes at the Senior Center!

Warm wishes for a wonderful year ahead.
