Greetings!
Update on my attempts at gardening. Deer at one of my liriope. I am hopeful they did not like the taste as the other 3 have been left untouched. Another flowering plant out front was eaten back to stems and a large gift was left behind in the lawn which I got to clean up. It was either deer or a very healthy rabbit. The flowers are growing and we will see if they survive the night time raids. Which brings me to my latest improvement. I have changed out my window boxes from Spring to Autumn. With school starting, it seems like the right time. Nothing here to nibble.
The other project being started is we are going to have the house repainted. It is closing in on 25 years old and on it's original paint. John likes the background color, but I want to change the shutters. What color do you like? The front door is black. I painted it with marine paint a number of years ago, and it will last a long time with that paint. The small white pot in the second picture is the plant the deer ate.
I hope your summer has been eventful. Counting down until my daughter comes to visit at the end of the month.:)

Join us for our second annual Rumble at the Lines Show at the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds. Check in for cattle will be held Friday from 9am - 2pm. Late check-ins will be accepted Saturday morning from 6-8am. Cattle Showmanship will take place Friday at 6pm. Registered heifers, commercial heifers, bulls and steers will take place on Saturday beginning at 8:30am. Dairy Goat check-in will be held Sunday from 6-8am. Showmanship will begin at 9am with breed classes to follow. We look forward to a great show.
