Greetings!
National Pizza Day is honestly one of those holidays I fully support without asking too many questions. If someone woke up one morning and said, “You know what this country needs? A pizza holiday.” — I respect the initiative. 🍕👏
🍕 Sicilian Style Love – The Green Room
Four hours’ notice for the dough to rise? That’s the kind of commitment I admire. That thick, fluffy crust with crispy edges is a whole experience. I can absolutely picture John placing that order like it’s a strategic operation. Worth the wait.
🥦 Cauliflower Crust for the Win
And listen… cauliflower crust gets unfair criticism. If it’s done right, it’s surprisingly solid. I love that you’ve claimed your own smaller take-and-bake. That’s just smart household diplomacy. You get your veggie masterpiece, the boys get their meat-lover situation, and everyone’s happy.
As for me? I’m with you on veggie-forward — roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, maybe some feta or goat cheese if we’re feeling fancy. But I will say… a little spicy Italian sausage does something magical with peppers. It’s about balance. Pizza diplomacy again.
Now — skipping the Super Bowl for grilled steaks and fresh brownies? That might be the real power move of the weekend. Honestly sounds cozier and more delicious. And Kid Rock in shorts… I’m not sure the nation was prepared for that visual. Wayne State connection though? That’s a fun little full-circle moment. Small world indeed.
And I LOVE that you installed handrails. That’s one of those quiet, thoughtful upgrades that makes a house more welcoming and safe — especially with Mom and visitors. Practical but caring. Those brick steps can be charming… and sneaky. Peace of mind is priceless.

Our next Adult Murder Mystery will be Friday, February 13th from 5:00-7:00PM! This one is perfect for the lovers and haters of Valentine's Day!
It's February 14 and time for a Vampire/Human Anti-Valentine’s Day Stupid Cupid Singles Mixer... The idea for the event came from a vampiric philanthropist who claims to want nothing more than to see vampires and humans get together for a quick bite and a special night. Who needs a lovey-dovey romantic evening? This is a dating event set up to match Vampires with Humans, the first of it's kind. For those who think Valentine's Day sucks, this event promised unforgettable no-strings-attached excitement, but no one could have foretold a death! At the height of the party, someone screamed and stepped back to reveal the crumpled body of the host, LeBrat de Tigercub, one of the wealthiest and most powerful vampires in all of New England.
Costumes are always encouraged!
The Friends of the Camden County Library Kingsland will be serving themed mocktails for donation.
Registration is required and will begin on Jan. 30th. You can register by scanning the QR code or go the trrl.org calendar. Spots are limited and will go quickly!
