Greetings!
I hope your week is off to a great start—this crisp autumn weather makes it hard not to enjoy!
It feels as if the entire country is holding its breath ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting tomorrow and Wednesday. I’m hopeful we’ll see some easing in rates to give the real estate market a bit of relief.
If you’re considering buying, now is a great time to explore your options. And if selling is on your mind, we may soon see an increase in buyers entering the market. I’m always happy to discuss your plans—feel free to call me at 717-801-5900.
For those preparing to list, I’ve included a helpful GAR flyer at the bottom of this email with tips for getting your home ready for sale—especially if you have pets.
On a personal note, I’ve recently become a big fan of Jelly Roll and have been following his tour schedule. He recently wrapped up a European tour, performing in Berlin and even giving a concert in front of the Vatican after meeting with the Pope—how amazing is that?
Even better for our local military families: he’ll be performing at NAS Jacksonville on October 18 in a non-ticketed event for military members and up to two guests. Guests will need Real IDs to attend with their military sponsor. It promises to be a fantastic—and wonderfully chaotic—night!

“The Anna Kingsley Story”
Wednesday, September 17th at 10:00 a.m.
Senior Center Dining Room
Ana Kingsley was a remarkable woman whose life tells a powerful story of resilience and history in Northeast Florida. Born in Senegal and brought to Florida as an enslaved teenager, she later became the wife of plantation owner Zephaniah Kingsley and gained her freedom. Ana went on to manage and protect property, family, and community in a time when women—especially women of color—faced extraordinary challenges.
This lecture, presented by the Amelia Island History Museum, will explore her legacy and the impact she left on our region’s history.
All members and guests are welcome.
